As of March 2007, Aradia will be offering Watsu and/or Waterdance sessions at a beautiful 16 foot heated, salt water pool (%100 chlorine free) in the Beaverton Area.

Watsu is an experience like none other. While being supported in 97degree water, the client receives bodywork based on the Shiatsu system, as well as so much more. With the soothing warm water and the nurturing support of the therapist, there is a return to a deeply hypnotic and tranquil place. Using stretches, pressure points, massage techniques, and stillness, this is bodywork like none other!

Waterdance is Aquatic Bodywork, taken to a whole other level. The underwater level! In these sessions the client is given nose clips and gently guided underwater. Here the head and neck is freed underwater, giving a freedom to spine, and otherworldly experience emerging and submerging with the breath. Through the series of dolphin like, dancing movements, a beautiful joyful serenity is reached.

  Aradia Willow LMT has been practicing Watsu since 2000, she was brought to Costa Rica by PuraVida Resort in 2005 to be their Resident Watsu Therapist. She stayed there for two years, co-coordinating the Watsu program and doing thousands of sessions in the Water.  Now she has returned to Portland, and is thrilled to be offering this work again.
